Just bringing over a few entries that I have posted at LiveJournal and haven't brought over. So, if you are on LJ, you will have seen these -

Well at least with this challenge I don't have to take a specific photo!  So, thanks [personal profile] curiouswombat

This time last year I was not really well, so wasn't out & about anyway ... but we were obviously getting some sunny days, as here, a year ago, is my little man sitting in the sunshine in my conservatory.

And, as I wasn't getting out I was also doing quite a few jigsaws ... this is one I borrowed from Christine and is of Exeter Cathedral

I was so pleased to see this view of this rose bush -

DSC_0882

It is a scented red rose, and was Mum's favourite bush when she was younger, and her parents brought it with them on their first visit to their house when they moved in a year after they married, in 1952.

So, it has moved from Stanwick to Ilford, to Flint, to Upminster, to Bude, to Torquay, and is now in a tub and living in Exeter ... 70+ years of growth ... and moves!

More catch-up photos

This photo of my slippers that I had for Christmas are actually Super-Soft!  I think I have lived in them when I am in the house since Christmas ... super warm, cosy and soft

As I don't have a Valentime, the non-V heart was easy to find!

One of my brothers gave me this a few years ago, and I hung it on my Murano glass elephant

Hope he means it!

Many of you have posted lovely pictures of a calender, so thought I would do something different!

I am a hoarder, and in my study, as well as my computer, are loads of books, plus ornaments etc.  This is a daily calender a school pen-pal gave me many moons ago.  I have it set at 27th July as that is the day I lost Jaykub.  That picture is of he and me just before we did a small cross-country competition.

More cross-posting for those who missed my entries over at LJ

LOL - I had a slight panic when this was the prompt, as I am trying to be a good girl and actually take photos for each prompt - but I woke this morning to snow ...

11th_February

Suprise, suprise, it all went in a few minutes

I live in the city of Exeter, and the next district to me has a yew tree in the churchyard was included among the "50 Great British Trees" to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Now that in itself is not odd .... but what is odd is this celebration arch they have built up the road from it near the shops .... and, no, even close up you can't read that central glass panel ... very ODD
